LOUISVILLE, KY.—Blue Entertainment Sports Television (BEST), a Blue Equity company, was recently named to the 2009 Inc. 500 annual report of "The Fastest-Growing Private Companies”. BEST was ranked No. 21 overall out of 500 companies, and was the top ranked company in the "Media” category.

"We are honored to be held in such high regard by Inc. 500,” said Jonathan S. Blue, Chairman of BEST and Chairman and Managing Director of Blue Equity, LLC. "Inc. 500’s annual report is the benchmark against which private companies measure themselves and to be the top ranked company in our category is a major accomplishment.”

"BEST is thrilled to be recognized by Inc. 500,” said BEST Managing Director Mike Principe. "Our high ranking is representative of the hard work, aggressive business model and outstanding team members that we have in place. While this recognition is based on our short-term growth, BEST is positioned to sustain long-term growth as well and will continue to add great value to our partners and clients.”

The Inc. 500 ranks privately held companies according to year-over-year sales growth from the previous three years. Historically, the Inc. 500 has identified the next generation of world-class companies, with Microsoft, Stonyfield Farms, Timberland, Oracle, The Princeton Review, Morningstar, Jamba Juice, Gateway, E*Trade, Intuit, and Domino's Pizza all appearing on the list before they became industry power-houses.
