BEST, GlowTouch make Inc. 500

Blue Entertainment Sports Television and GlowTouch Technologies have been named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies.
The ranking is based on year-over-year sales growth from the previous three years.
BEST, a division of Louisville-based Blue Equity LLC, was ranked No. 21 on the list. The sports and entertainment management, marketing and production company was the top-rated company in Inc.’s "Media” category.
BEST represents clients such as NFL players Santonio Holmes and Reggie Bush and NBA players Shawn Marion and Rasheed Wallace.
The company also produces sporting events such as the U.S. Open Tennis Championship, the French Open Tennis Championship, the Boston Marathon, and Hoop It Up three-on-three basketball tournaments.
Between 2005 and 2008, BEST’s revenue increased 4,685.3 percent, to $22.9 million from $478,501, according to the list.
Louisville-based GlowTouch Technologies provides information technology application development, business-process outsourcing and IT infrastructure services.
Founded in 2004, GlowTouch had $6.9 million in revenue in 2008, up 1,350.2 percent from $476,708 in 2005, according to the list.
GlowTouch, which has 800 employees, was ranked No. 9 on the "Top 10 Indian-Run Companies” list and No. 10 on the "IT Services” list.
Companies that have appeared on the Inc. 500 list in the past include Microsoft Corp., Timberland, Domino’s Pizza, Oracle and Jamba Juice.
