Juan Reffreger

Senior Vice President

Juan Reffreger is a Senior Vice President at Blue Equity, LLC and Publishing General Manager of Sección Amarilla USA, LLC.  Reffreger was a key force in building Blue Equity's Enlace Spanish Yellow Page business in less than three years from a fledgling start-up into the largest independent Spanish Yellow page company in the United States. A controlling interest in such business was sold in October 2006 to an affiliate of Teléfonos de México S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: TMX), the large Mexican telecommunications conglomerate generally referred to as "Telmex"). At Telmex's request, Reffreger has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Sección Amarilla USA since the time of such sale, while also maintaining a very active role with respect to various business activities and opportunities of Blue Equity. In addition to his corporate and strategic management responsibilities with respect to Sección Amarilla USA, LLC, Reffreger is responsible for identifying potential markets for acquisitions or start ups, arranging for the implementation of such acquisitions or start-ups, assuring that sales teams are installed and developed for all locations, and overseeing the company's daily operations.  

Reffreger brings to his roles at Blue Equity and Sección Amarilla USA a proven record of success in sales and business growth. Before becoming a part of the senior management staff of Blue Equity, Reffreger worked at First Omni, a portfolio company of Blue Equity engaged in the residential mortgage lending business. He excelled quickly in this position, moving from Loan Officer to Senior Loan Officer in less than 6 months.

Prior to joining First Omni, Reffreger was the Sales Manager of Cementos Moctezuma, S.A. de C.V., the 2nd largest cement company in Mexico. In this position, Reffreger oversaw the central-east territory out of Puebla, Mexico and lead the team to 20% growth annually. Reffreger also owned and managed Publicidad E Ideas, SA. De CV, an advertising company based in the Mexican Caribbean. At Publicidad E Ideas, SA. De CV, he initiated sales of advertising spaces in shopping centers. Before this, Reffreger was the sales manager for Progress Rail Services de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. He began his career as a sales executive for Ferromex.

Reffreger earned his B.A. in economics and MBA in International management from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. He served on the board of the Hispanic Business Association of Louisville for the 2004 term.
