Director of Marketing
Kendra Calvert is the Director of Marketing for Blue Equity, LLC.  Calvert brings over 7 years of marketing and financial expertise as well as knowledge of the Hispanic market to Blue Equity and its affiliates. She oversees all aspects of branding and public relations as well as market research, strategic planning, implementation and evaluation.

A Louisville native, Calvert returned in 2005 after spending 10 years in California and a year abroad in Madrid. Prior to joining Blue Equity, she was the Marketing Director and Manager of Operations for WEEKEND en español, a private Spanish school in San Francisco. In this position, Calvert initiated a variety of marketing methods and founded a partnership with the UCSF School of Nursing to provide medical Spanish training. At Greatschools.net, also in San Francisco, she established the website's presence in the education community and founded the California Advisory Council. Her financial background from Union Bank of California ensures that marketing techniques are based on market research and that goals are attainable. 

Calvert graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, with a B.A. in English and a Spanish minor. She currently resides in Louisville with her husband. She is actively involved in the community and volunteers marketing assistance to the Louisville Advertising Federation, the Idea Festival and Orbis Yoga Studio.
