Mauricio Gojman

Vice President
Mauricio Gojman is a Vice President at Blue Equity, LLC and Chief Executive Officer of MexConex, Ltd.  Gojman is responsible for strategic planning and financial analysis on all business matters pertaining to Blue Equity, as well as the identification and development of new investments and opportunities. Gojman brings over 5 years of investment banking and corporate advisory experience, focusing on mergers & acquisitions (M&A), capital raising and debt restructuring transactions.

Before joining Blue Equity, Gojman was a Senior Associate with BroadSpan Capital, leading the firm's transaction execution efforts.  At BroadSpan Capital, he completed over a dozen transactions across Latin America and the US Hispanic Market worth over US$1.3 billion. Gojman has participated in transactions in over 15 countries and multiple sectors, including media, telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate and financial services.

Prior to BroadSpan, Gojman worked for JPMorgan as an Analyst in the Diversified Industries Group, part of the investment banking arm of JPMorgan Chase. While at JPMorgan, he focused on assisting in the origination and execution of multiple cross-border transactions.  Before JPMorgan, Gojman participated in the development and management of Ubicate.com, a Latin American Internet start-up in the online mapping and geo-referencing space. While completing his education at Brandeis University, Gojman also worked as an investment banking Summer Analyst for Merrill Lynch in Mexico City.

Gojman earned an MBA with High Distinction at the Harvard Business School. At Harvard, he graduated in the top 5% of his class as a George F. Baker Scholar and was awarded the John E. Thayer Scholarship for academic excellence and the Arthur Rock Fellowship in Entrepreneurship. Gojman also earned an M.A. degree in International Finance from Brandeis University's Graduate School of International Economics and Finance and a B.A. cum laude degree in Economics also from Brandeis University. Gojman has studied and worked in four continents, and is fluent in English, Spanish, Hebrew and Portuguese.
