Controller
Monica Kelley is the Controller for Blue Equity, LLC and its subsidiaries. She oversees human resources and payroll as well as managing the budgets. In addition, Kelley prepares financial reports and strategic plans. Kelley's ability to analyze data and forecast for future growth has allowed Blue Equity and its companies to expand at a rapid rate.

Kelley brings over 10 years of accounting and finance expertise to Blue Equity, LLC. Prior to joining Blue Equity, Kelley was the Controller for First Omni Mortgage, a Blue Equity company. Before this, she was Controller and Senior Vice President of First Bank. In addition to overseeing payroll, accounting and operations, Kelley lead the way to raising capital by creating a plan to first issue common stock and then later, preferred stock. Prior to her work at First Bank, Kelley was a Senior Accountant and AVP at the Bank of Louisville. Her responsibilities included managing the budget and asset liability as well as preparing Call and Annual reports.

Ms. Kelley received her BA in Accounting and a MBA from Indiana University. She is a current member of the Institute of Management Accountants, Louisville Chapter. Kelley resides in Louisville with her husband and two children. She is a booster for the football, basketball, and baseball athletic programs at Louisville Male High School.
